I needed to rest at Gwyden camp because I was going to the plains of endless wind. I only had 29 gold. so just for fun i try to get a room. The guys says have a nice sleep or whatever and I wake up fully regenerated with -11 gold. Anyone have a reason?

I think I found another one. Right after i wrote this I went to get unicorn ring. I was in the cave, at the entrance. I activated magical armor, waited for the creatures to group around me (about a sec.) and then activated sanctuary. I couldn't move, the blue dome was there, but I kept taking hits.
Welcome to the boards. I haven't come across these problems before. You may be on to something. Wait until an actual authority comes by this topic for more details.
And, also, to make life easier, edit your posts instead of posting two in a row. Follow the (url="http://"http://www.evula.org/dragoon/edit.jpg")arrows(/url) to find out how to do this.

I tried the magic armor/santuary thing again with the same result. Both take your mana, you and the creatures around you can't move, but you deal and take damage. The only thing I guess is to wait for magic armor's "dome" to go away before you cast sanctuary.

The two spells you mention are from Trinity, and not Spells Expander. Don't go blaming Stark for that one. The description of sanctuary tells you that you and the creatures around you cannot move until the spell wears off. I'm not sure what the intention of this spell really is, other than to buy you some time to re-organize?
In my own games I found there were certain spells (both new and old) that I liked and used often, and others (both new and old) that I seldom cast. I guess the bottom line is, find the ones that work well for you - each player will select their own set.

Are you sure he gave you the best bed, and not some cot out in the alley sleeping with the cat? I know he didn"t have the coffee warming when you awoke. Actually, if you had 29 gold and ended up with - 11 (that's minus eleven) then the math is correct, I just didn't know you could get a room on credit. I don't see a bug here, you just discovered that lodging has different rules than goods.

Find those areas you missed the first time around. You'll want to explore those hidden areas now made accessible with Stark's new plug-in!

Mr CI-Ia0s,
Yes, I've noticed this as well. PoG didn't place a check on the gold removal before renting you the bed. Thus you can run into negative gold. This is definitely a bug. I'll pass it along(though, I think it has been reported).

While I haven't tested the sanctuary spell, I think I know the problem here. When I was writing Spells Expander(and RD is correct in that Sanctuary isn't my spell!) I noticed some bugs in the spells system. Namely the spell removal system. When you cast multiple spells that have a duration effect, bad things happen. Sometimes spell effects are not removed. In this instance your sanctuary spell effect(not being able to move) stays on, essentially ending your playing experience.
I found a workaround for this, so you should notice that none of the spells in Spells Expander will fall prey to this problem. But I did notify the developers of PoG of this problem, and I sincerely hope that it will be fixed and an update released in the future.

Are you sure this is a bug? It makes sense to me that if you are down on your luck, tired and broke, the only way to continue is to get some rest somewhere. You can't kill more creatures to get more gold if your HP is too low, so the innkeeper is saying "I'll let you rest, but you owe me for it."

Well, I believe it is for the following reasons:
The inn in Fantrima does not do this. It has the check in place for low/no gold. I think this was overlooked in Gwyden Camp.
Negative numbers are really bad, in my opinion.
If the inn in Gwyden camp is going to be that friendly, then I would humbly request that either the inn just be free, or that a dialog box is given to the character explaining that the player can't pay so the innkeeper will either take what the character has or let him rest for free.
But going into negative numbers look bad on the screen, and will freak a good many people out, heh.
But again, I'll make Dee & co aware of this and they can do with it as they please.
You kept taking hits because the creatures were trapped inside the dome with you. So basically you waited too long to cast the spell. If you cast it while they're still a good distance from you, then they won't be able to hit you, unless they have a ranged weapon and/or spell.

Are you using that example just to annoy me?

Sanctuary causes creatures within the sanctuary to also freeze and not deal/take damage from physical attacks. Also, my problem is not that I never get free of sanctuary. It is that sanctuary works normal except that I continue to take damage from non-magical attacks. THAT is my problem.

The way Sanctuary seems to work for me is that it holds the foe away from me, but if you have trapped a creature in with you, both can deal/take damage. They just can't move or run till the spell wears off. That may not be exactly how the description of the spell reads, but that's my observance of the action. I think Gallandro was absolutely right when he said

As a matter of scientific interest, try casting Sanctuary before the gang gets too close.

You guys are right. But that is definetly not how the description reads. On another topic, I have encountered another bug (yay). The issue has fixed itself but I'm wondering if it has happened to any1 else. I go into PoG and load/save a game, doesn't matter when, as long as I am in Full Screen mode. Then, it shrinks the screen to 1/4 the size of the normal screen and sticks it in the top left corner. It fills the remaining space with black. If I switch to windowed mode and then back this fixes it until I save/load again. This just started happening. All I have is spells expander and trinity, Pog v.1.0.2. I am using jaguar on a 667 ti-book (mac). Its working now, I just wondering wats up.
yeah you cn be on credit for the guy in Gyden Camp, dont worry about it
