Need Ship Graphics

Ok, I finished up your Arada. The sprite in-game didn't turn out as well as I would have liked, but hopefully it will work.

Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi. Miles Christi sum.

Nice work on the Crescent warship and the Lazira, especially, Skyblade.

As for the Laertian Station. I have finished the generic design. I have a dome thingy...and I think I am going to shrink it a bit and make the rest of the station a bit more important. So far it is mainly the dome, which has water and land and stuff inside it. The rest of it is going to be a sort of sprawled out but fluidic-like metaball-based construction... I will post it when I have time, probably tomorrow as I am off school for the next six days.

The Arada looks great! Nice and gungy, like I hoped.

As for the station, I'm looking forward to it. It sounds good, orbital space colonies suit the Laertians, considering the area off space they're settling in was pretty thoroughly trashed by the Phage.

I've almost finished the map and ship/weapon testing, and will soon be ready to work on the missions. Hopefully in the next few days I'll have a website set up where you can download the working copy of the plug, and take a look at what I've done so far.

Ok, I've been fooling around with Bryce a bit more, Polenicus.

The Laertian station is basically complete, however--- if you happen to have some Waveform/DXF/bryce .obj models on hand, I can add them to the scene. I will have them posted by tomorrow, the Station landing pic, spรถb graphic, and probably some more...

Also, I figured that the Laertian colors look much nicer with darker green than electric green. I can correct this if necessary,(the station is mainly white...)

In the mean time, I will provide some nice ASCII art of what it looks like.

It actually is a sphere, though...(see how bored I must be. :D)

Sorry, no models, since all my ships are swiped from Adam's shipyard ๐Ÿ˜œ

Don't worry, I'll just photoshop 'em in.

------------------

Crap, it didn't load right. Oh well. I'll try to get it posted, although I will definitely be done with it very soon. Just a few more embellishments and stuff...

Is this working? Tell me what you want me to change, unless you want to totally not use it, in which case I will be happy to ๐Ÿ˜„

Well, it looks good so far. The only change is to maybe create a dome over the city, so it doesn't seem so exposes to vacuum. Give the dome a bit of a tint so it's easier to see.

------------------

Come to think of it, I've been working with it enough that I get used to the dome not being too visible. I think I can add some metal framework into it to increase its visibility, if that's ok? And the color of the dome. As well, I think some adjustments to the connections from the dome to the pods would be welcome. I will have this done by Saturday, if not sooner(school calls, unfortunately)

A metal framework sounds good. We don't want to crank the colour so muh it obscures the city inside, do we?

As for the time, Saturday is fine. I'm using a stand-in graphic right now. and anyway, it looks like I'm going to have to wait a bit for my ship graphics, as Saber studios has gone down, and I expect that will hold up my pirate ships for a bit.

------------------

Hm. Ok, I will have to get onto this now. From a realism standpoint, a curvy metal framework would be more stylish and true to space design, but logically the framework would be like geodesic domes. Unfortunately I cannot exactly do this kind of graphical work...yet. ๐Ÿ˜›
