Well, I'm sorry to announce The End of QSE for EVO/EVN. It's perfectly playable, but has no special missions. Fear not, this is far from The End of Quantumire. I have more plans for the rest of the Quantumire universe, as well as QSE itself. But I dare say that Meowx has left the playing field that is the EV/O plug-in. -david-

That answers the question of what they're going to do with it. Or rather, what they want to do with it.
Personally, I'm not getting my hopes up. If after all this time they can't finish an EV/O plug, I have a hard time seeing how they'll put together a 3D engine for this thing. "In due time" probably means several years. If then.
After seeing so many incredible works go dead over the past 3 to 4 years, I'm really starting to get cynical about plug-in development. Everyone has a good idea, but no one wants to dedicate the time and effort to finish it when its all said and done. Because eventually, any cool idea seems old and not worth the time--to the developer, though usually not those that await the product. Its like the old adage: We all want to go to heaven, but no one wants to do what it takes to get there. Aside from Bomb's works and Frozen Heart, Override has nothing outstanding to its credit. There's just no drive.
Yeah, I know. I have no right to judge plug-in developers, since I've never tried to do a plug-in myself. Well, one day. Once I finally get a Mac of my own to work with, and not a damned PC.

Well, I hate to add to the mood already created, but I painfully regret to inform the assembled that my plug-in (tentatively titled the Argent), is now frozen under development, until I get more time, or I have someone contibute some decent mission string ideas. It was planned for release as an EV and EVO version. Right now I have all the graphics done, the extra spoobs and systs (25+), the ship, pers and flet (100+), basically everything but the missions.
