Mechanisto is great, you're on the right track. You might also try downloading the Bryce 5 Trial Version at (url="http://"http://www.corel.com")www.corel.com(/url). It is a very open trial, you can save, there are only a few things you can't do, like network rendering. Though is only good for 30 days, it lets you experience Bryce and it's pros and cons.
