Hello all, I was just wondering how did the rest of you make the thumbnail graphics for the outfiters or shipyard. I found that if you go to "get info" and paste the large outfit graphic where the folder icon is, and then copying the outfit pic from the get info section, it is the right size for the thumbnail graphic.( this might not work on newer macs- mine is running OS 7.5.3. Pathetic, isn't it?)

Most people use (url="http://"http://www.lemkesoft.de/")Graphic Convertor(/url) to scale their images, and it works with 7.5.3. It's $20 shareware iirc, very good for that price.
As for the actual sizes, I have no idea. I think it's 32x32, so your method would work.

Oh, and the technique works on all modern macs(7-9). Dont know about X though.
32x32 is indeed the appropriate size, which is why this method works.

Some graphics do need to be touched up in res-edit though. Recently I tried to make a thumbnail for the space bomb rack, and it turned out black and white(not that it was really colorful anyways). I just opened up resedit and added the yellow stripes. I can't seem to download the 68K version of Graphics Converter from the site listed above. My cpu says that it can't open the page ( I think the download was deleted from the site) If anyone could send it to me at w.dimpfl@worldnet.att.net, I would be very grateful. Thanks.
