Help

Hi again, is there anyone out there that would post a web page for ev for me when I'm done with it? Cause I use filemaker to make web pages but I don't know how to post them.

Thanks to anyone who replies,
Shane Emanuelson

This post doesn't belong on the EV Nova web board (as it isn't about EV Nova), but I'm not real sure if it belongs more on the EV web board or the EV Developers Corner board.

Hmmm, I'll move it to the Dev Corner, and apologies to the mods there if they think it should be elsewhere... 🙂

(url="http://"http://www.geocities.com")Geocities(/url) and (url="http://"http://www.f2s.com")f2s(/url) are the only hosts you could put your site that I can think of off the top of my head.

Edit: Stupid UBB...

You could also use the (url="http://"http://www.mac.com/")iDisk(/url).

But about the actual uploading...if you've got OS X or some other variant of Unix and know how to use Unix, then I'd suggest going into the Terminal and doing the command 'ftp <host>'. Then use normal Unix commands in the ftp prompt, and use the command 'put {no variables}' to upload something. If this made absolutely no sense to you at all, then just go to version-tracker.com and download Fetch or Transmit or something, and you should find a manual somewhere about the client.

As long as you've signed up at a place like geocities and f2s.com, just get fetch to upload your files with. Its farely simple to use, and will get your site up fairly quickly . .
