I tried to make my own music for the EVO intro theme... I arranged something in Midi and then recorded it through an audio playback cable... into a regular resedit sound format. Well- it sounds ok and all, but when I put it into EV, it plays it EXTREMELY fast, and it's... err.... totally messed up.
Firstly, what can I do? Secondly, are there any programs that let you play, edit, and delete parts of a sound???

The software you're looking for is Soundeffects and it's free to download from RF3 (link below). The music is just probably at the wrong rate; EVO requires it to be 11.1kHz. You can use Soundeffects to fix that. -david-

neither does EVO. the standard intro music is at 22.255kHz 8-bit mono.

Ahhhhhhh!!!!! I guess I will have to fool around with it myself until I can.. er.... get it........ I mean..... it's not urgent that I get this done now, but it is quite unpleasant to open up EVO with an immensely loud and fast looping sound.... for the new pilot screen, mind you.
However----- it still doesn't work. I converted it to a lower thingy, or I think I did, and it just plays it slower with more noise... a little help please?

I actually have the opposite problem. I am trying to copy the EV intro music to mess around with it and i can't get it as a sound file.(I would rather a quicktime sound)
------------------ "Are you sure the powers off?"
Well, as for that, you copy the sound into a new resedit file and then... ...go to the thingy in the file menu 'get info' or whatever and change it to: Type:sfil Creator:movr
And then it's a sound.... I don't know anything otherwise.
But as for my failed attempt with the music.... errr..... I dunno. Help would be appreciated if possible, however I think I'll just re-record the darn thing.
