I would like to see a discussion of this thought:
If a topic has not had any response in the past sixty days, it gets a "closed topic" lock. This would not mean that the topic could not be talked about, It would just mean that one would have to start with a fresh outlook. On-going topics which keep getting input would not be affected. This would only close ones which have lain dormant for two months or more.
What is your opinion?

I am not a moderator, but I would have to agree. This would stop people(like me :)) from accidentally digging up old topics.

Andrew would need to rewrite the ubb code for somthing like that to happen. Specialy since I would in no way go through all the posts by hand to lock them. I agree though, I had the same idea awhile ago. Yet its not happening any time soon. I just have to deal with any topics that people dredge up.
