What is the best, most lethal sword in POG? Where may it be obtained? I am playing POG for the second time, trying not to miss anything. I recall seeing an elf, Gradum of Germak Trading, with what may have been the most lethal sword. All the player has to do is defeat the elf for a gift of the sword. I can't find Gradum? I thought I encountered him on the Oakwasp Hunting grounds, located east of Berglum, just west of the new bridge, but could not locate him.

Go north from Gwynden Camp (four screens), engage the dwarf in conversation and decline to give him directions. Except for the local, you've got it right, the prize is the Dwarven runic sword.

If you are playing trinity though then the runic sword is no longer the best sword around for a couple reasons. First if you aren't a swordsman you can't use it. Second if you are a swordsman you can, but you can also then utilize the scimitar of darkness which I believe can be purchased(?) at the swordsmen's guild.

And if you're a ranger, you can alway trade for gobs, heaps, and bunches of gold, then buy about 1000 strength, dex, and marksmanship pots, and then use the dagger of ferret for the speed bonus. But how fun is that :o(

STAY AWAY FROM THE SCIMITAR OF DARKNESS!!! Each time you miss, it hits you for 10 damage. Not good. The best weapon is either the runic sword or the two-handed War Axe of Misery. Rangers, though can use Great Wolf Claws, which are just plain ouchy.

The Runic Sword never was the best weapon in the game, there's a war axe in a cave on the southeastern coast of Garendall somewhere, it's two handed and not a sword if you want to be particular, but it's better. I don't know anything about the trinity plug in because I beat the game before that came out

I am a Ranger, and I don't know what "trading you are talking about". I want gold!
