Here at SBS, I received information from someone that our site was too large for 56 k modem users. So here is what I'll do:
Either we can take a poll on how many 56 k users we have and how many Cable/DSL/Satelite/T1 users we have and see who "wins" (sounds cruel doesn't it) or we can have someone edit my images I;ve been using on the site to make the .gifs. I have made hem gifs, but found that they appear with dots on them. So, if anyone would like to edit them for me, I'd like that. Or we can do the poll.
Here's the poll: Just type 56 k, DSL, Satelite, Cable, T1, or greater for your connection speed (from where you most rather view my site from(i.e. home, work, etc.))
I have tried to edit the pictures, but GraphicConvertor and AppleWorks can't do everything. So email me or reply here if you wish to help with those.

HAH! DSL/Cable as basic signup! Your kidding. I live in a semi rural area and DSL cost's $50 a month +$400 installation. Cable isn't even availible. However, I diddn't find your site to large for my 56k. I wouldn't change it.

You might want to fix the formatting, the color selections, and the broken image. I don't feel like going blind at midnight due to an OD on brightness, my head is now listing to the left from the formatting, and the image is just broken.

No, no, no! Velocitous doesn't provide DSl, just a faster dial-up. It's like, 200 k or something like that.
It was fine for your 56 k-er? Well, did you just go there now? Like, today? Cuz if you did, it's cuz I changed the logo from jpg to gif. Cuz someone said that it was too slow for them. He suggested changing to gif. But the pics are crummier.

Actually, the image, which was a jpg, was deleted by me. So, they're saying they can't find it. I can't access my site right now. I'm too busy. But other than that it's ok?

No kidding forge. Ow. Schedules new eye appoint
Space, a hint, that green on the black background just isn't right. It needs to be brighter or better yet something much closer to white. A lot of your images are just too bright and clash with each other and themselves in many cases.

I'm on a 56k, but I'd like to point out that high speed users will be unfairly represented in this poll. Why? Modem users tend to scan for interesting items and only read them - due to time constraints. Whatever you do, it shouldnt be above 40k total and it shouldnt require plugins or JavaScript to make the page work, only for special effects.

Well, they're the same colors as from the game. . . but I guess the game has boxes and lines, `n stuff to dense it up a bit, eh? Well, it''l have to wait. I won't fix it until I get my own dot-com. So that'll be a while. Geocities said they're going to shut down my site. So, if they do, I'll just make a newer and better improved one. But the dot-com will be better. Sorry for the inconvenience. I've only made four websites before.
TSB: I assume you're talking about the same image I mentioned before. I downloaded it, opened it in Graphic Converter, and recompressed it with the JPEG compressor at 80%. Old file size: 112k. New file size: 32k. It looks the same to me. Can I email it to you?

Sure. Thanks a lot Dyno! "can I email it to you?" That's kind of a funny question.
I have a 56k Modem, and I would be happy to fix the graphics, I have adobe photoshop.

If you're looking for hosting space, Apple's Mac.com is a good bet. Just stick your stuff in the sites folder on your idisk.
