What is it? I had this idea, you see,of clumping a load of nebulas together, with a lot of black between,so you could have more nebulas possible, because 3 or 4 could essentially count as 1. If you get that.

I don't know if there's a limit, but that approach would be a bit impractical, because if the player found one of the Nebulas, all three or four would be discovered. Also, depending on where the Nebulas in the image were, all of them could be discovered without the player actually finding one of them. I wouldn't recommend trying it.

Well,if you had a small cluster of nebulas, say a local group of small purple blobs, you could put them in one nebula it would make it easier in EVO,where 1 new nebula is max. I had an idea which involved 5 new nebuleas the other day. Obviously, that wouldn't work.

I don't know what the limit is, but I've made a nebu 500 by 300 pixels. It worked fine, but really slowed things down when viewing the map

Nova has like 16 nebulas max, if you don't mind porting your plug-in.

Oh joy! More Nebula resources! Hmmm...Nova...
ResEdit can't handle really large images. I tried making a really big image for the intire map- ResEdit puked (it had enough mem to do the job). Generally small nebs are better than larger ones.

To help me finish it faster, I will not be slowed down by making ship graphic- I will use the ones from Nova. ------==========------ Approving someone else's work is not the same as creating it yourself- Bill Watterson, Author of Calvin and Hobbes
