How hard to make EVO plugins work with Nova?

I have been working on a plug-in off and on for a year now and I am wondering how hard it will be for me to port it to EV Nova. I know that when Overide came out somebody made a program that would make EV plug-ins work with EVO, but Nova seems to have many new resources so I don't know if something like that would be possible.

I believe that Nova will come with porting tools that will allow you to port EVO plugs to Nova. However, they won't use the new Nova features, which may make your plug appear dull compared to the stock scenario and the other purely Nova Scenarios. But then if you got into using the features for the sake of using them, that would be worse...

Yes, I believe that R&R; Software are making a convertor. Look out for it when EV:N is released.

The editor in question is known as 'Port Authority', and it will convert plugins from EV and EVO so that they work under EVN. As I understand it, there are still a few minor issues, but nothing that couldn't be fixed by hand after dragging and dropping the plug onto the application and creating a new EVN plug.

Remember the new EVN plug will not take advantage of all the new features, it will simply work in exactly the same way it did under EV or EVO. Also, if you were doing a plug that was supposed to work with the EVO universe (using its graphics, spob descs, et al), I believe that there is a possibility that a converted EVO universe will also be made available.

Ok, this is great, i immagine that if we want to, nothing prevents us to re-editing the plug to get those nice Nova features...
