It's about time I verify something. Using the sequencer of Infini-D, I've found that it is rather easy to link your objects to another object of your choice. No big deal. However, my question: Is there any way you can move your entire ship without shifting the camera numbers at ounce? Normally, when I link my objects to say, the hull of my ship, and I try moving the hull, only the hull object movies. I'm trying to find a way for the ship to move as a whole, instead of making the painful process of moving the objects one by one.
Anyhow, answers would be appreciated. Thanks!

they all move if you move the parent. select the object you want to link, select the link tool at the top, and click the parent object. do this for all the objects you want linked (maybe you can do it in the sequencer, i've only read one section of the manual and i don't use the sequencer too often). once you've got everything linked to the parent object, moving it should move all its children (and, as i just found out today, duplicating it will duplicate its children, with all the duplicate children linked to the duplicate parent)

nighthawk, it is FAR easier to link objects (in the simple heirarchial sense) using the sequencer.
Cpt. Skyblade, that's very odd. Moving the parent object should move all the children. To link, you drag the child object's name onto the parent's, right? It becomes indented and listed under a triangle-rollout-widget-thingy, right? If not, it's not linked. If so, that's very strange...
Modifications to a parent object that can affect child objects: movement, rotation, overall scale. Independent (per axis) scale does not affect child objects, I'm rather sad to say...

So that is what the parent and children options are all about... But last time I tried linking all the objects to the parent, they didn't all move. Oh well, I'll try this again and see what I get.
Thanks for the help, guys!
Success! I tried the usual technique again (with the sequencer) and the entire ship moves now. I must have had the objects linked to the wrong parent during my last attempt...
Appreciate the help.
