Mechanisto always crashes when I try to change the angle of a camera or light. Does anyone have a diagnosis for this problem? It's getting really annoying.

I found that Mech. crashes less when A) you save often- like after everytime you make a change you open the application and use the open command to open what you want (opposed to opening the file you are working on) C) after rendering a picture close the window it created before you render something again.
never had any trouble with your problem

That stuff usually works. Also, try increasing the memory.

Yeah, I do all that. What happens is this: I place an object (let's say a sphere, for the purposes of discussion). I immediately try to change the camera angle, and Mechanisto crashes. I allot plenty of RAM to it. The same thing happens when I try to change the light source angle.
Never had any trouble with that, and I worked with Mechanisto for almost 3 years. Strange.

I am allotting 24MB of RAM, and my computer has about 55MB after the Finder gets its share.
By the way, I think I fixed the problem. Maybe.
