I am haveing problems with Mechanisto. I just spent two hours makeing a ship that in my opinion is pretty darn good. And the Mechanisto just ate it (or so it would seem) I can't find it anywhere and dont know what to do. HELP. I also have been haveing some problems getting Mech. Graphics into Make Spin. It just comes up with a bunch of errors. Please HELP.

There is a tutorial by Vincent Bernard called Mechanisto Helper. On the last page on the second section it should give you a description on how to make sprites for your ship. To find your thing......I guess you could go to File>Find and type it in there. Or you could go and look in Recent Documents in the Apple menu to see if it is there. Good Luck on finding it.

What errors did it give you

The only error i got from make spin was "unalbe to create sprite map".
MakeSpin requires that There are exactly 36 picts in a folder with NOTHING else in that folder All the picts are the same size That they are all labled this way (untitled can be anything) untitled.001 untitled.002 ect
If you can't get Makespin to work you can read my alternate method for making sprites from a Mechanisto ship (url="http://"http://home.earthlink.net/~squibix/ev")here(/url). As for the other problem, all I can think of is that you might have moved or renamed the file while it was open, in which case--as I learned from bitter experience--it is irretrievable lost. I hope that's not the case.

That is not the case! You just have to change the creator code with ResEdid and then Mechaninisto can open it. Very easy if you know what you are doing (or you can ask for complete instructions from me)
