The other day I was thinking, is it possible to make mission require a certain payment after completing or at acceptance of the mission. It would be nice to make something like a wormwhole that requires payment. Can anyone help me out or do I really have to for Nova?

You can do it in EVO 102. One of the PayVal flags allows you to set 'Deduct this % of the player's cash at end...' or somesuch...

However, this will work much better in Nova, because the new engine supports hypergates, wormholes, and landing/docking fees.

Thanks allot. I've heard about those wormwhole and hypergate in Nova but I wanted to convert it to EVO.
Can't you set the PayVal field to a negative number to deduct money from a player? For instance, if you want them to pay 1000 credits at the end of a mission, I think you can set the PayVal to -1000.

No, it doesn't work that way. Negative numbers are how all the special types of payment are handled, like (for example) giving the player a cloaking device. Check the mďsn section of the Override Bible for more details.
I stand corrected...
I've read the Misn section, I just forgot about that part, since I have never given a player an item as payment.
