I prefer to use Shipwrite for my ships because of its simplicity. However, when I tried to edit a ship in my most recent plug-in, it said read-only. I didn't set it to be read-only, and I need to make these ships. Any suggestions? Or is this just one of Shipwrites bugs- not being able to save work whatsoever?

when you open a plug in shipwrite there's a little checkbox (at the bottom of the open file dialog) which allows you to set whether or not it's in read-only mode. this is a fairly nice feature for those of us who make compulsive use of the save command- sometimes i'll start doodling, then forget that i'm just doodling and hit save, overwriting all my real work with lotsa crap. of course, it'd be nice if it still had a save command, instead of just saving whenever you hit ok, but it's still a nice tool and it's not my place to complain

No offense to anyone, but I am truly surprised how many people overlook this.
