I am wanting to make a weap RSSC editor (like the R&R; govt & outf editors), and have faced 1 major stumbling block; I have no clue how to make one. If somebody has a link to a tutorial, or knows how to make them and is willing to tell me. It would be excellent. Thanks.

It contains plenty of sample code, and also the Inside Macintosh documentation. You'll need to know C, and probably Pascal too.

Thanks.
Yoou know C++? If you need some help you can ask me, as long as its not too heavily mac library based, I should be able to help somewhat.

Well... Actually I'm thinking that it would be easier to just make a non-ResEdit editor. Maybe with Python or something along those lines. Plus it would help me hammer down my knowledge of the language. However, if you would be willing to do some of the work, I'd do the rest for a RSSC editor...

The ResEdit documentation says how to make them... That being said it does require using MPW, and some rather old 68k compilers and linkers. If you are having difficulty fathoming how to get it all to work from the docs then I suggest you investigate some other options, because it doesn't get any easier from there.
When I am finished with the NovaTools project, I may be coming back to do some EVO RSSC editors, or even some EV ones. Now I have done a full set of Nova editors, an EVO or EV set would be relatively straightforward.
However, here have been some developments at R&R; that may make make EVO/EV editors academic...

Cool! Can't wait to see them.
