Is there some way to get support files in Res-Edit like in the old EV-Edit? It is really annoying to not be editing something directly.
------------------ You don't have to do this! Life is too precious! Good, good, slowly, everything will be OK. Now, put the trout down...
Are you talking about the templates? You can get them on the add-on page (make sure you get the ones for ResEdit and not Resorcerer) under EVO Utilities. Just copy them onto a blank plug-in and you've got direct editing templates.
------------------ So I take it this means you don't have a ratchet...

No, I have the templates working fine. Someone who has used EV-Edit will know what I am talking about.
Dammit!!! I just posted a long explanation of what he meant but I mispelled my name and it screwed it all up. Anyway, if you have EVO God or EV-Edit you'll know what he means. To answer your question: I don't think so but there might be a way, it's just too complicated for me to type, I haven't tried it yet anyway.

As far as I know you can't do that, but Resedit does let you have several files open at once. So for whatever I'm working on I usually keep the relevant Override data files open in the background. Some of those files are pretty big, so I had to increase the memory allocated to Resedit.

That works too.
