I cannot make ship objects for crap. I can disassemble models of ships that people have given me but that is just gay. The mechanisto guides haven't helped, anyone out there know where I could download a bunch of objects, or teach me how to make better ones.

Mechanisto isnt for everyone - i could never use it, at all... but... kwanz, or the other Mechanisto users (not you, jorm, sorry) can help you out.

It really just takes time. When I first started, I couldn't do crap. Took me a couple of months to get good with it. Just play around with transforming objects and see what the result is. Notice what each transformation does. Thats the best advice I can give you.

All of my models are available to anyone who wants to take a look at them. You can see some of the various things I've made (url="http://"http://home.earthlink.net/~squibix/art")here(/url); send me an email and tell me what it is you're looking for.
Also, I someday am going to write a few Mechanisto tutorials, because it really is a good program once you figure out how it works. So far all I've got is one on (url="http://"http://home.earthlink.net/~squibix/art/shaders.html")shaders(/url), but I hope to do some others before too long.
