We need someone who can create quality, detailed planets. If you can create realistic or just plain great landscapes, have a way with shading and texturing, then we need you.
If any of you are experinced in this or have interest, let me know. I'll need to take a look at your work, though. The pictures produced will be used in our upcoming Ares TC plug. So we'll be accepting more than one artist in order to split the work load.

For some reason, I have a feeling this has fallen on deaf ears.
Anyway, I'm reposting to bring this topic back to the top. Hopefully there'll be takers then.

Out of curiosity, do you mean planets from space, or the picture you see when you land?
Both. I realize now that I the correct coin for the term is Spobs. Anyway, we're looking for both people to create landscapes and the in-flight views(spobs).
You said this is for Ares. Two things.
You uh, can't land in Ares.
Why not post it on an Ares board?

It's for EV, but it's an Ares TC plugin.
It says so in his initial post...

Last call. If anybody can help with landing pics and spöbs, please contact me or post a reply.
Post Script: Metzen is right. This is for the EV platform. However, it's still open enough that we hope to be able to adapt it too EVN, once it comes out.
Go to the links page on the EV and EVO website and check out the links under graphics. Many people there have landing pics and spobs that you are free to use so long as you give them credit and tell them when the plug is finished. Jude

I couldn't help but notice that you have karma (something no moderator I've seen has). And not just karma, but blessed! Congratualations!
I don't think I'll be able to find many picts that fit the standards and work we're looking for. But, thanks for the tip, in either case.
Um...all moderators are "blessed"
