From the Learning Tree, 1N - 1E - 2N will do it. You should have picked up a map on your first visit to the Learning Tree. It may help in future needs although the squares are small. The flagpole base rests on Gwyden Camp.
I have just completed a simplified, printable map of the Kingdom of Garendall which puts a maximum of 30 squares per page (5x6). This map also includes all the underground areas. In each square I have given the experience points which one can get by killing all the bad guys found there. There is a title page with notes of explanation, a page layout sheet to show how the pages fit, and seven pages of map for the 164 squares.
I haven't got these on the web yet because if I shrink the drawing to where I can take Screen Snapz of the whole page too much detail is lost. I have, however, snapped each half page which in gif format comes in at 18k to 40k per half-page.
I will be happy to e-mail these to anyone who wants them. All you have to do is drop the two halves on any art program, line up part A and part B and print. Just send a note saying "Please send PoG map" to (url="http://"mailto:rduck@optonline.net")mailto:rduck@optonline.net(/url)rduck@optonline.net
If all the numbers/letters are messing you up just follow the road north from the city you started from....this road passes by the Learning Tree....

I might as well throw 2 more suggestions at you, and only one of them is self-promoting.
First, for a graphical explanation, you can visit a very nicely done web page created by Mega. He has an online version of AAC's POG map that you can click on to expand, and navigate. He has links on the side to take show you where some of the more important things are at as well. Very nicely done. You can locate it (url="http://"http://graywoods.com/PoG/")here(/url).
Second, for textual directions, you can always visit the (url="http://"http://www.avalon.net/~honda/pog/pogwalkthrough2a.htm")POG Walkthrough and Compendium(/url) that I wrote. It contains text directions for every place I could think of, including all the villages and tunnel entrances. Check it out.
