EVO map editor

I am using EVO map editor to create the systems and spöbs for my plug in, but after I put in around 15 systems and 10 spöbs, it started going reeeeeeaaaaaaaalllllllllyyyy ssslllllllooowwwwwlllllyyyy. Is this just a bug with EVO map editor, or is it a problem with my pulg-in?

Oh - guess I should tell you - I'm using it to make an EV plug-in, not EVO (it said it could do both)

I just don't want to go back to editing everything in ResEdit, which is how I'm doing everything but my systems and spöbs (they're way too complicated)

Maybe you have a really slow computer. Probably not.

Maybe you have a 21" monitor (you bastard :p). The larger the window EVO Devmap has to update the more processor time is burned.

Try setting your monitor to 256 colors. It helps a bit on slower computers. Make sure that if you use custom graphics you have them in 256 colors as well. Having to dither a 2000x1500 pixel nebula really burns time.

Best luck
