QT movies can only be played before, after, or instead of the mission briefing (Read the EVO Bible if you don't trust me). It would be hard to make those mission-related movies work since they should be shown at the end of the mission, not the beginning.

The debrief could say "Come join the celebrations in the bar!" Then in the bar "You watch the holo-vid recording and it looks amazing in a third person view..." or something to that effect.

I didn't say debrief, I said breifing. The message shown when you accept the mission. You can't show it in the debrief, or any other place except the initial breifing.
That doesn't mattar really, just set the mission to critical, must accept and auto-abort.
