how do i get res-edit to "remember" the EVO resources? when i try to edit a plug, i am forced to open the sample template just to load the resources into res-edit. is there a way i can save them into res-edit's preferences?

  1. Open the ResEdit Preferences (in the Preferences folder inside the System folder) and the Override Templates (EV Override 1.0.2 ƒ --> Plugin Developers ƒ --> Override Templates).

  2. Copy the Override Templates (apple/command-c) and paste (apple/command-v) them into the ResEdit prefs file.

Then just open a Plug-In in ResEdit and view the resource of your choice! 🙂

You can also paste them into Resedit itself, as the preinstalled tmpl's are.
