Many of you will have heard of epsilon, but some will not have. Epsilon was a project undertaken by Skyhawk and a few others to provide an EV-like game that incorporated many features from plugin designers. Unfortunately the person doing the graphics engine (laer) has decided to stop. The essencially means Epsilon is dead, though it officaly in 'stasis'.
Oh well, it looks like most things go this way. I wonder how many games are scrapped by the big companies?

Anyway, I think that it really finished with Sky's HD crash, it was working well before then. Anyway, Another one's down and another one's down and another one bites the dust.

No, actually, it isn't.
I have another prediction on your "3D EV-like project" too, Mikee

There's no such thing
Was interesting to see how many people I had going though...
Since I know a bit about the subject, I feel compelled to reply. Kind of.
Epsilon wasn't the result of developers giving up per se, but more the result of laer leaving for college, which left him without a Mac and without any real free time to code. The other programmer, Skyhawk, had his hard disk crash and burn losing a good amount of the code. As far as I know, laer has it all on his old PowerMac 7100 sitting in his house in Belgium, and it could be copied if need be, but without some of the major brains behind the operation it doesn't look like any work will get anytime soon.
I wish I were right as much as andrew is.
