I'm making a plugin, and every time I complete a ship in Shipwrite, I exit that certin ship and all the stuff I worked on is deleted. I also can't change the recource number for any ship. Got any explainations?

Not sure what you mean. Have you opened the file as readonly?

no. when I start the program, there is no ships to edit, then I create one and it deletes all information I gave it about the ship when I exit the ship creation window.
another thing, for any future versions, let the user create his own number of pixels across and bottom (in the sprites creations). I have some ships that dont fit in the only numbers that lets me make my sprites.

Have you tried running it with extensions off I ran it with some weird thing my mum put on my computer and it went unko.

Seriously, you probably opened the file as read-only. That's the default way of opening files, for safety's sake. You have to make sure you uncheck the read-only flag when you open a file. If that's not what's going on, you'll have to work it out with Ralph Don't worry, he doesn't bite and he's usually rather helpful...

You don't have to choose a size from the list. you can type a size of pixels in the box instead. also, if you dont see the read only box, drop the plug on shipwrite and a dialog will ask you specifically.

OK, I've fixed the ship deletion bug - It was a real bug and all my fault. v1.1.8 will be posted soon.
The menus in the sprite dialog show muliples of 8 pixels because that is what EVO wants. For example if you make some pixel sizes (ie 100 pixels) the masking doesn't work properly in the game and the graphics 'crackle'.
However all the menus in ShipWrite are meant to be guides, you are free to experiment and type in any values you like!
Cheers Ralph
PS I'll let you all know when the new verison is online. Thanks for the report!
OK, this is done with now
