Everything looks terrific except the cockpit canopy -- somehow the shiny opaque light blue does not quite look right. The shape is good though and the rest of the ship looks like a believable freighter. I like it.

I still think that some sort of border around the cockpit, connecting it to the rest of the ship, would look better, but even so, it is still a very nice ship.

Very nice! Obvious inspiration from Onyx's Valkyrie, but again, that's not a bad thing. A whole set of ships in a plug of mine was created from that ship's inspiration.
My only 3 (specific) complaints are about the cockpit (purple, opaque, reflective...ugh), the fuzziness of the image, and the texture of the ship. While unless you know what you're doing, specularity makes for plastic, this ship just doesn't look quite right with a completely diffuse surface. Or, you could try turning up the bump amount a bit - I think that would help.
Now, I have a quick question: how did you remove the warning-stripe from the engine texture? Did you just cut it off with pshop?
cockpit color should be silverish... at least i think that would be better

how about a silvered/metalic orange/yellow to go witht the rest of the color scheme.
------------------ why
It looks very nice, but a little too blocky (to my relatively unpracticed eyes) to be an aerodynamic fighter. And, like everyone else has said, the cockpit looks out of place, because of its color.
