My roommate got this e-mail about special graphics software deals from Journey Ed for students and teachers (She's an instructor at a college). Since I know a lot of you have been drooling over infinity D, I thought I'd pass on the info. It still costs quite a bit, though it's a lot less than it was. Notice the time limit on the specials. Anything selling something in email is probably a scam, for cheap prices, contact the company you want to buy the software from, they have educational discounts, if they don't, then resellers won't have discounts for educational purposes either.

Yeah, I amplify this warning... be -very- careful about buying from a source such as this. Most publishers do 'student packages' which are usually pretty good value. (Photoshop for Ł99... im not complaining) Of course, this email may be perfectly legal, but it's worth checking up on. I knew someone who was ripped off something rotten by something similar to this.

Cool then, I didn't read the email that thouroughly (sp?) before, did this time, no bs about sending them your checking account number and stuff. Also My mom's a teacher she gets lots of educational discounts on things, games included, books are what 20% off at barnes and nobles, and educational catalogs have cheaper prices.
My ultimate educational discount was when I got my g4, saved 100 dollars on the computer itself, but I also decided to get this adobe web collection, PS, Illustrator, and Go live. If you bought them all seperately it would be like what $1700 dollars, buy them as a package off the shelf is $1300, buy them with a g4 was 700 and with an educational discount i got $1700 worth of adobe graphics software for a little over $300.
