It's on the (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/games/ev/addons.html")EV add-ons page(/url), under the category "Utilities." Of course, I can't use it, because there isn't a version for EVO that I know of...

I could swear plug check works for both EV and EVO...It does...;)

Nope! I hate big packages that try to do everything - and end up doing nothing well. I'm happy to focus on doing one thing at a time, as well as I can. When I want to work on the map, Pontus' tools are all I need. Then when working in Ships, Shipwrite does what I want and I don't have to carry extra baggage around to to it. Since I mostly work on one thing at a time, I prefer having a suite of specialist tools.
Besides, if we have a diversity of people working on different ideas on how to make great tools, we are more likely to get a better set to use. No one, especially not me, is going to have a monopoly on good ideas on how to do things, so the more the merrier I say.
Cheers Ralph

This is correct. The current version of PlugChecker supports EV and EVO 1.0.0. It will work with 1.0.2, but will not check for the new 1.0.2 features.

P.S.: If something is "too large to be opened with simpletext" how do I open it? Thanks.
EV Edit, even though its been updated countless times, is still the buggiest thing around but it is the easiest to use. Resedit is reliable but takes ages to make a plug-in. My advice is this: Stay clear of ev-edit unless you're a beginner, and get the ultimate shipbuilding machine Shipwrite! to make your ships and resedit to do other stuff except missions. Anyone who knows of a weapon/Dude/Outfit maker. Please reply!!!
R&R; have a resedit plug in for outf and govt (scroll up)
Please release weapon smith for EVO!
