I was using ResEdit to connect two systems. I typed the recource ID # of the other system into the Con1 field of both the systems I was trying to connect, and tried it out in override. However when I try to link to the other system using the map, the other system doesn't appear. I tried everything I could think of, but nothing worked. Can anybody help me?
Oh, and I did do a search before asking this.

Did you check that system's VisBit filters?

Double check these things: 1. the systems aren't too far away, this can affect if the line shows up, keep them within 500 points of each other to be on the safe side.
2. like miranu said, visbits, set both systems to -1 in the visbit field, not 0 because that is a bit.
3. make sure you are putting the correct system id into the other one, not the same id into both resources.
