Does anyone know where I can find a good (free) 3D model of the shuttle? (Perferablly convertable into bryce format)
------------------ Relax, were not in trouble yet!
Allow me to clarify, I meen the real shuttle, not the EV shuttle (Atlantis, Discovery, Endeavor, Challenger etc.)
You know Captain , there is a place where more people who do this sort of thing(3D models, etc.) are. It's called (url="http://"http://www.scifi-art.com")"SciFi-Art.com"(/url), and many of the people there have experience with modelling realistic space vehicles.
Your search would probably go faster, though you will have to register to enter the forums, and there may be a little give and take(that is, I don't think they want just anybody going there just to scavenge for models).

if you're not too concerned about accuracy, Vikram Adukia made a plug for EV that contains fair models of the shuttle (as well as a bi-plane!). his plug is called jet .92, and should be available from the EV site.

I tried downloading the models in the abovementioned posts, but I was unable to import them into bryce. However the 3D cafe model came with some nice textures, so I'll probblly make my own model. Thanks anyway.
