I've been tenatively entertaining the idea of working on a plug relating to the Strands for some time (~1year or more). I know the basic storyline in the "present" EVO galaxy, but I'm interested in making it "historically believable", if you know what I mean. I want to create a back story, going back several thousand years, which would never be explicitly talked about in the plug, but would give me a solid framework to flush out details in this hypothetical plug (it's very much vaporware, so please don't ask for details).
So, is there anyone out there that has written a well accepted back story for the Strands? I'm specifically interested in their splintering. Where would these stories/outlines/whatever be? Banter and Brawl? Chronicles? Elsewhere? While I could easily come up with a backstory, I'd like to see if there is an ISO Strand background first.
Note: While I enjoyed Beyond the Cresent, I don't think the storyline there would be totally compatible with what I'm playing with.

I appreciate the offer, but I feel certain I could write something up myself. However, I would not be opposed to having someone read it over after I am done and make changes/suggestions.
This is only if there isn't an accepted back story, of course.
