To convince you to get it, I'll give you all a short description...first and foremost, this plug is a cheat. I don't intend for anyone to use it to beat the game and then come to the boards and brag about it (a la whoever came to the EVO board talking about his "captured" (url="http://"http://www.andrew.cmu.edu/user/dsghosh/evosite/shipyard2.html#vdreadnought")dreadnought(/url) with two shield generators or whatever). I intend for it to be used in one of two ways: (1) to find out where the missions and everything are the first time through, and later try it the hard way, or (2) to have fun blowing up anything that comes in your way. Anyway, the plug adds a ship, called the Super Crescent Warship, loosely based on the (url="http://"http://www.andrew.cmu.edu/user/dsghosh/evosite/shipyard3.html#cresw")Crescent Warship(/url) I normally use (i.e., the same graphics). It has 25 neutron turrets, phase turrets, and Emalgha turrets, so it can deal significant damage to any enemy. It has a very large amount of fuel, and can hold a very large amount of cargo and outfit expansions. The SCW has a very large crew, as well, which makes capturing other ships a breeze. And, last but not least, it is free and available anywhere in the galaxy (which I accidentally left out of the documents).

Of course, if zhouj had read my first post, he would realize that I do not intend for people to use this cheat to win the game. Let me quote what I said earlier:

This means that this plug is intended purely for newbie exploration or enjoyment , not winning the game. All clear now? Good.
but cheating in any way is bad the fun of finding a new place or mission or the challegene and fufillment of beating a mission is gone because you were cheating

I see your point...but that's the player's choice. If he (or that rare she) doesn't want to look for it and instead uses a cheat ship to find it, it's his or her loss. And, of course, just blowing up stuff is fun too...that's what I did when I was testing it.
Sorry shayborg, but this kind of thing is just not what people want. I do what you have released all the time, out of boredom. Just get EV-Edit and you can make an invincible ship in about 2 minutes, graphics, description and stats. I think you would be much better off making something that increased a mission string, even if it is small, it would be better than something that someone can do in a matter of seconds (long seconds, but seconds). Just my honest opinion. ~Gav

Actually, I'm working on a mission plug right now. I just made this plug for fun, and because a lot of the cheat ships people like the ones my brother uses are incomplete. This one has everything you could possibly need--weapons, shields, cargo and expansion space, the all-important forklift :D, fuel, and crew...thanks for your opinion though. However much I might not agree, I like yours better than zhouj's first comment.

Well, actually, I have made a super cheater called EV Maxcheater a while ago. It is at (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiaSW.com/games/ev/addons.html")the Ambrosia Addons page(/url), or more precisely at the bottom of: (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiaSW.com/cgi-bin/vftp/show.pl?product=ev&category;=*&display;=date&page;=2")here(/url)
It has 2193 downloads, but it doesn't show because its a cheater. It has been downloaded almost as much as EVGE has! (Below it is another one of my plugs, Ambrosia 1.0.1, a recommended download! )
But about this so-called "cheater" plug-in, I really don't mind TOO much. I like cheaters, but I still enjoy a challenge.

I sometimes use cheat plugs, but only for fun. Not to beat the game. (sheesh, i did that like 2-3 years ago.

If, for example, you're a newbie. And you have no idea where everything is, since your (url="http://"http://www.andrew.cmu.edu/user/dsghosh/evosite/shipyard1.html#shuttle")shuttle(/url) is too weak to go farther than Dogovor in the west or Huron or Hatuli in the south. And you need to explore to find stuff you read about or missions to places you don't know about. You can just play SCW to find out where they are, and then go back to your own game and just go there.
Or if you're just bored, or you need to vent anger in more constructive ways than bringing a machine gun to school. You can just play the plug and blow up stuff. Or if you are unhappy about that annoying mission to clear out the Rock. You can just go in with your SCW and blast away to relieve tension. Then you can get back to playing the normal way.
Just some suggestions...

Yeah, I just went around and blasted renegades to test it...and another thing, you can practice aiming with the forklift. After trying it while testing the plug, I never miss anything with pursuit missiles and dispy rockets any more...
