ok I have heard from a lot of people that you cannot make ships in bryce and that bryce is only for landscapes,
so I tried to make a ship in bryce and my work so far: one engine: if you like it, I can make more,
if not then I will stop and ask other people to make ships for my plug. (url="http://"http://static.userland.com/images/harrison/Engine.jpg")http://static.userla...ison/Engine.jpg(/url)
Oh BTW, can somebody using a pc</shudder> go to my site (http://harrison.editthispage.com/bryce) and tell me if my thumbnails are lined up? I have been having trouble optimizing my site for netscape 6 and ie 5 and since I did that my site looks horrible in netscape 5 and ie 4 on the mac. im not sure about the pc, and since I don't have one (thank the powers that be), I can't check it

Umm... Wow. How long did that take? Oh wait - I forgot, Bryce has that nice replicate function, so probably not very long. Still, very nice engine, now you just need the rest of the ship... Unless this engine is intended as an outfit item.

well, I have the entire ship planned out. I drew it on the back of my script of a play where im not in the last act.....
Bryce can do spaceships very well indeed. It is just very different to make ships in Bryce than in any other program - thus the seemingly general consensus that you can't make ships in Bryce. I've made a couple, including the "Alien Ship" from the graphics competition, if anybody remembers that one.
Preaty nice engine. Still, I think it would take more time to do human ship in Bryce, then in other 3-d programme. The aliens are the different story.
damn, cool

Did you actually do those in Bryce? If yes what version did you use?
It's actualy realy easy to produce quite complex models in Bryce, I've been using it cince the first version was released.
I now use version 4 as a construction yard and rendering engin for my mods and use Infini-D and the like to create individual eliment of vessels etc.
Bryce has in my oppinion, the best UI available in any 3D modeler. On the surface of it, Bryce is quit limmited. It's not until you start to experiment and puss back its, and your boundries does it come into its own.
