I was messing around with totally refitting EV in a plug to display an extremely large nebula as a background that would make the map look like cities and roads shown on a landmass. Sounds simple enough right?
If anybody knows the regulations (size, shape, etc.) on nebulas (not in the EV bible), please tell me, possible along with ideas to overcome such possible regulations.

I'm a newbie to the post, but i've been playing EV since i pulled it off the Mac Addict One disc in late 97. Thanks for thinking it's a cool idea. It isn't for my main plug, though, which is a user input deal i was going to put together where prominent EVO players on the board will form nations. It's gonna bring EV that one step closer it never got without multiplayer. Anyway, thanks again for your post!
I believe this is what Meowx is doing with the Dark Realms plug-in.

Actually, Meowx is a subsidiary of Moden. Thanks for reffering me, but i still need to know what people think of the idea and if it would work in.
This doesent have much to do with cities and roads, but another thing you could do if you wanted more than four nebulas in your plug-in is to make one huge nebula resource that looked like many other nebulas, so you could make as many as you wanted.

That's true... technically, but there wasn't any "Moden" before, it was just Meowx. Now Meowx is a subsidiary of Moden.
