is ready for you to look at and vote on. Click on the smallpreviews to see large graphic scenes and sprite animations. You can vote and post comments on the ships. (comments will be moderated).
Enjoy! Ralph
Comp Details:
4 files were required:
A quicktime movie of 36 frames showing one sprite revolution, Maximum size 96x96 pixels. A standard 100x100 yard picture in standard 8bit macOS colours
A 300x300 pixel, millions of colours view or scene of the ship. Anything goes, designers choice. (jpg with max quality)
A paragraph describing the ship by the designer.
Designers can enter up to two ships.
This format was chosen to keep the competition website to a manageable size (MBs cost $). The small sprite size is also a test of skill in producing good looking small graphics. The 8 bit yard picture is also a test of technical skill, to get a rendering to look good under a limited graphics environment. The 300x300 scene is where the designer can go crazy and show off all their imagination, in 32 bit colour!.|reg
