The black dragon's tooth is the second piece you need to complete the ledgendary shield. Have you found Orobas yet? He will tell you to go get it, but since you've already found it, it will make that quest much simpler.

there is no Ranger Guild per se. But there is the enclave for woodsfolk who will sell you some cool Ranger only items. this can be found off a secret path one north of the North Gidolan Tunnel Entrance.

hope this helps

Yeah, gee, thanks! I'll really be able to get there sometime soon! I think what iaqua means is where the heck do you get trained to be a better ranger than a really sucky ranger. You know what, I can't find that place either. Is it that alchemist person who the little kid Davi talks about? Cuz I can't find him either... I DID stumble across the Swordsmans guild. And doesn't the conjurer have like a little place where they learn spells? I've heard of this thing called Mole digging or something. Where do you learn that? Or what about those gate stone thingies? (You can tell I'm a newbie to Trinity.)

conjurer and ranger learn spells over time via levels. They also gain rank just like the original character, do the knight missions.
The only thing special to each class is there own little personal area/merchant.
Swordsman guild to swordman.
That forest village for the ranger.
The mage tower for the conjurer.
(edit( oh ya, and the gate stones... think of them as portable tunnels to the location named in the stone. (edit)

Where's the forest village? I can't belive the stupid gate stones are one time use! Maybe I'll make a plugin that fixes that...

The Forest village is Norghra village. I just couldn't think of the name at the time.
And thats the point to gate stones... Also there rather cheap and you can buy mutiple stones. and you can buy all the stones from the wandering salesmen but you can only use them if you have been to that stones town or area location before, just like tunnels.

Where's the forest village?

Norgha village lies 1 screen north of the North Gidolan Tunnel Entrance. If you haven't found this tunnel entrance yet, then you will probably be travelling from the north. In this case after you cross Verandeep Lake travel 3 screens south. If you haven't found where to cross Verandeep Lake then you have a ways to go before you locate the village. Verandeep Lake, btw, is on the south end of the plains of endless winds, which is west of Gwyden Camp, which is north of Fantrima.

When you locate the screen where Norgha village should be found on(as per my instructions above), you will find the village south of the center of the map hidden via a secret path in the forest.

I hope this makes sense. I'm still waking up, heh.
