G'day Plugin Makers!
We have updated and added to our sprite making tools. We fixed the amazing expanding sprite maker bug. As a new feature these tools now allow for non-square sprite layouts (ie 6x5 frames etc).
After receiving feedback, especially thanks to Kwanzar, we now have three sprite making tools to offer :
p2s - makes a sprite and mask from a folder of PICT files. m2s - makes a sprite and mask from a QuickTime movie. pcs2s - makes a sprite and mask from a PICS file.

When everyone is happy with them we'll post them on Ambrosia's files site.

Thanks a lot! I downloaded p2s, it's great. Making ships and weapons used to consist of hours of boring cropping and cut&paste; hyjinks in ClarisWorks for me!

i accidently used a PICS with m2s and it stilled seemed to work fine .

Oh! I never tried that. m2s is designed to open movies (MooV files) via quicktime, I guess QT is converting the PICS on the fly for me. I'll check it out when I have a moment.
