In ResEdit, how do you link the mission offer text (in the "Mission Offers" section in the dësc resource) with its corresponding mďsn resource? In the mďsn resource, there are fields for the mission briefing text, the quickbrief text (the mission info that shows up when you hit the default "i" key), the mission successful text, etc., etc., but there is no field for the mission introduction text! (like when the guy from UE Shipping offers you the intro to the cargo missions at the beginning of the game) I can link the offer with its corresponding mission in EV-Edit, but how do you do in ResEdit?

There isn't a field, but I think you have to take 1000 away from the Mission Accept ID. If you download EV Formula Calc, that'll help you.

The 'mission offer' desc resources start at ID# 4000 for the first mission (ID# 128) and go up. The easy way to find the number is with EVO Formula Calc, but you can get it by subtracting 128 from the ID# of the mission and adding the result to 4000.
