I see we have a bit of a problem on this board. Everyone has their own plugin and is asking for help, but there is no one willing to help. They have their own plugin. Why don't some of the people asking for help pair off and make a plug that's a compromise between the two?

I doubt that sort of thing would work. Team work on a plugin is only possibly with a single strong premise, not with a bunch of once-competing makers squabbling with each other about plugin elements.

Generally, good plug-in makers are the people who are capable of helping theirselves. ColdFusion is right as well - most good plug-ins are made solo, although there are a few that have been made by teams.
Most of the people asking for help will never make a good plug-in, even if people do eventually help them. It's those people who can discover plug-in making by themselves who succeed.
Of course, this forum is for the purpose of helping people with plug-ins, but generally, I think it should be for questions; not actual physical help. The latter just doesn't work, as ColdFusion pointed out.
