Wouldn't that be EV, not EVO.
This is straight out of the FAQ in the EV folder:
(Q) - When was Escape Velocity first released?
(A) - Escape Velocity was first released in early May 1996.
So Maybe it was four years ago too. But it could have been worked on before that.
