sounds nice... i'll have to think about that, though, thanks for the idea. I was thinking something like that, or were the voinians have taken over UE and you can either join them in their conquest to rule the galaxy or try to stop them. Sounds good huh?

I'm not saying that you can't do that, but I belive the story for Reign of the Voinians II is based upon that.

How about a spoof of the Ambrosia webboards? Replace the Voinians with ambrosia and the UE with the EV community and you've got something fuuny AND original. And all the people that post here could get their own person. I for one would download such a plug...

hey, I'll help. I know how annoying it is to make descriptions, and even the map itself for a plug. Give me the boring stuff. I lovemaking life easier for people. (Mainly I just like writing.)
I had an idea, but I never bothered because it didn't sound that exciting. Someone comment on it.
A plug where you are an alien pilot. Ships in the shipyards come and go depending on your mission-they all cost nothing but you are only allowed access to them after certain missions. Same with weapons. The basic plot is destroy everyone else. It'd be a one-time play plug, as the entire galaxy would change.

Uh...no it wouldn't be. Mission bits for certain ships could just be set or cleared after each mission. Or now thanks to EVO 1.0.2, before the mission.
I was working on a prequel for Escape Velocity a while back. It was called Great War. I have some of it still lying around, but I don't know if I want to finish it now.
By the way, it was very historically accurate - that's more than I can say for the Foundation plug.

The most important thing would be to have plenty of space parrots to kill... And the ultimate goal of the game would be to force Ambrosia to produce EVMP.
Sure, count me in. I could contribute a ship model or two. Also, I have a few weapon ideas, which I was going to use for my own plug-in... but what the heck, I don't have time to pull that one through anyway.

I'm working on my own plug-in now ("Star Wars: The Growing Evil..."; I may even have a beta ready in a month or so), but I'd be happy to make weapons, ships, etc. for that idea. Imagine: an Anti-Moderator missile! (kidding...)
But, seriously ( :frown: ), I do have some ideas for some stuff: -The Zeus: The Ambrosia moderators' super-cruiser, with some sort of lightning beam -Newbie Gnat: small, annoying ships modeled after board newbies, complete with irritation guns -Missions on the mission comp. would look like BB posts, with no direct mission stated, but would hint at something you could accomplish

I'd love to help my idea get made into a plug-in, but I'm busy making 2 of my own. I can only do creative stuff (ideas and the such). Here is the basic outline of how I would do it, if I had time.
The EV Community systems would be were the UE is.
The Ambrosia Systems would be were the Voinians are (duh).
The Renagades would be renamed the newbies.
I have no idea what to replace the strands, the Miranu, and the Emalgha with.
Of course everybody would have their own person...

Is this from EVO? Because if it is, then I should probably say that I work with EV, and have never even played EVO in-depth.
I always wanted to do a conversion of the EVO universe into the star trek universe, with all the different ships and have it during the dominion war or something. Of course, that's just so much damn work.
Something easier might be to make a plugin that adds the UE Cruiser II. It's a ship that was originally designed for the game when it came out but never used because the design clashed with the looks of the other UE ships. You can get the model with the EVO 3D Designs folder that you can download from the add-ons section here, I would make a plug-in myself but it's in infini-d format and i don't have infini-d, or any program that could convert the file. Anybody want to loan me a copy?
