Duplicate the included 'Sample Plugin', open it with resedit.

Decide what you want to add, and hit COmmand K.

Select the required resource type, and enter the stuff for the feilds.

Enginners can actually hear machines talk to them. The rattle in the car's engine teases softly, "I'll bet you can't find me." The computer hums an approving tune when the enginner writes an expecially briliant peice of computer code. The toaster says "Not yet, not yet, not yet." untill the toast pops out. An enginner who is surrounded by machines is never lonly and never judged by apperance. These are friends.

One problem, there isn't a TMPL resource in the sample plug, so here's what you do:

1. Duplicate the Sample Plug.

2. Open it with Res Edit

3. Open the Res Edit file included with EVOBAE (whatever its called, it has the res edit jack-in-the-box on it).

4. Copy the TMPL resources you find in there over to the Sample Plug

5. NOW you can press command k and find, or type in (option + u then any letter produces the omlaut. i.e. ü or ë or ď.) the template name.

6. Double-click on the appropriate resource file, then you can open the one already created inside, or create another resource (the things with IDs). Double click on a resource in the resource file and get started!

There is a thing called the "Resedit beginers guide" out there somewhere, maybe somewhere on the Ambrosia site. It is very good. Don't worry that its about EV, they're both the same. 🙂

Dan! The food's gone!

I think that the TMPL resource included with EVOBAE are the EV templates; download the original EVO Bible to get the real McCoy.
