I have been having trouble trying to upload a file (the latest version of Galactic Scourge) to the archives. With Netscape (4.72) (with Java enabled) I keep getting a network socket error. If I try using Explorer (3.01) (again with Java on) I get the popup window without any text in it, so forget about trying to send. I am on a tan G3/300 and a T1 line and I have had the same problem on different days (and differendt G3s).
Has anyone else experienced this problem or have a solution?

I had the exact same problem on the same computer. (Except I don't have a T1 line) I kept trying and trying and trying and trying and trying and one day it worked. Then when I tried to upload something else later, I also had to try a lot before it worked.

I, too, am trying to upload some plug-ins, and have a question:
What format should I submit it in? (.sit, .hqx ...)

David Dunham and others are working hard to correct the upload problems at Ambrosia. See my topic regarding "...getting my Mugabi and Destiny plugs to upload" at the Help Is On The Way Forum.
