Same problem. Nothing about it in any of the 3 read me files, or the pdf manual. What's the dang thing looking at my internet config for anyway? <p>

What are your particulars? Ie, please post the answers to the following questions:

  1. What are the specs of your computer(ie, CPU speed, memory, model)?
  2. What OS are you running?
  3. How much memory do you have allocated to POG?
  4. Which version of POG are you using(Full or demo)?
  5. Did you download POG or get it off of the CD?
  6. Which version # of POG are you using(1.0 or 1.0.1)?
  7. What, if any, plug-ins are installed?

I don't know the answer to your question. But if you provide the above information
when you have a system problem it may make the troubleshooting easier for those in
the know.

Trinity plugin, (it fails with and without plugin though).

Internet connection is via a 10mb Hub, thru a Macintosh gateway Workgroup Server 7250/120 via Cable connection. IP adresses are configured Manually in TCP/IP. Network also contains 2 Windows machines for Everquest (on the Cazic Server) and 3 Printers.

What I'd rather know even before I get it working is what's it doing looking at my internet config anyway?

My system is a Power Mac G3 266MZ. 96 Meg. mem. OS9.0. Pog will give the same error message whether opened from the CD (registered version) or from the hard drive.60000K memory allocated to the program version 1.0.1

🙂 I found out that you need Mac OS 9.1 at the least to have POG start correctly. Got the free update and that solved everything.

------------------

no you dont, im running MacOS 8.6 on a 300MHz beige tower with 130 MB RAM allocated to PoG, it it runs just fine
