Strand missions?

How do you start the standless missions? it's impossible!

I've been playing EVO for nearly 3 years, bu I still can't find out how to start the strand missions, i.e. Igadzra, Zidagar and Azdgari. Am I just useless or are they incredibly hard to find. I know they're there cos i found them on mission copmuter when I opened the data file.

Anyone got ideas? :rolleyes:

First of all, Welcome to the boards.

It's been a while, but I know the Adzgari string starts down at South Tip Station. The others start closer to Miranu space, I just don't remember where.

One thing you might want to be aware of, and I posted this in one of the other topics:
It's usually considered uncouth to reply to topics that are more than a few months old, let alone 5 years. It's always nice to see new faces around here, but people can get annoyed fairly easily.

I believe that the Zidagar mission starts on (sorry for spelling of planets) Pozdag 3 near the Miranu border and the Idgaza mission starts on Kirtak. Yes, the Azadgi mission starts at South Tip Station, the opening missions are tough but the benefits are well worth it.

I think I remember going on a mission from kirtak to an Igadra planet to request help in some battle with the miranu. What combat and legal rating do you need and what missions cant you have done? I know you probably cant do zidagar, azdgari and igadzra all at once.

Actually, doing the Igadzra and Zidagar missions at the same time is possible, provided you get the starting missions for the second one while the first one is still active. It is tough to do, but doable. Just like doing both sides in the original EV. Getting the Adzgari mission makes it virtually impossible to do the others, though, since there is a tight time element involved in that one.

Of course, this all is a moot point if you use a certain plugin.

Igadzra missions start at Kitrak.
Azdgari, South Tip Station.
Zidagar, Pozdag.

You need at least a Dangerous Rating to start them. Like Knucklehead said, there are time restrictions on both Zidagar and Igadzra, so get rid of those escorts and buy yourself a mid-size ship with extra fuel tanks and a fuel scoop.

Only the Azdgari starting mision has a time limit; and a stict one at that.

I'm pretty sure the Kitrak to Igadzra had a time limit because I failed it when I landed for fuel.

It has a time limit. Hence making it impossible to do all three strands. It's only possible to do two.

Ok thanks. Now I've done them anyway, well most of them. I'm in an Igazra and I still can't do the last Igadzra mission. The other strand is easy :laugh:

For the record, the Zidagar strand should be able to start on any Zidagar spob. I know that I've gotten the opening mission on Qerid and Terrapin.
