I have latest revision 12 inch powerbook (1.5ghz) and want to run EVO (in classic, not through EVN, because I want to play a couple of the TC's), but it is a little choppy. Basically it runs perfectly fine until you get about 4 ships on screen, when it starts skipping a little. Is there any way to make it run a little more efficiently? This is with no other programs open or anything, either. The original EV is even worse, I get like 2 or 3 FPS with nothing going on at all.
I don't know what that means, but if I were you, I would try to raise its memory usage... That is what I would try first.
Fps= frames per second.
It sounds weird though. I don't have any problems with it. iMac g5
I'm not really into these things, but.. Just said it if it may help.. I know someone can help with this better.
Versions of X?
Zealot: can you mess with memory usage from X?
Ooops! No.. Srysrysry
Well, technically he can mess around with memory management, he just has to do it "in" Classic mode.
