Well. This guy are going for the Voinian Dreadnought. But: Since the UE string is bugged for the Windows Nova engine, so I dont get the chanse to raid and capture that ship, Im looking for some one that either know a place I can get an plug-in, or can make one for me, that allow me to buy the dreadnought For Windows. I have found some plugins for Mac, but cant figure out how to convert them to Windows.
So, if anyone can help, I would be wery thankfull.... 🙂

Actually you posted a poll. I doupt that this was your intent.

About converting, there should be an application in your Nova folder that converts Mac plugins to Windows. It comes with every Windows version of Nova.

I see. I have tryed the converter that follow the game, but it dosnt seems to work properly. Got a .bin file I tryed to convert, but the program did crash everytime I tryed to use it.

And about that Poll stuff. Int sure what I did wrong thou... Another thing is, Int realy sure what a "poll" is. 😞

Regretfully I can't help you with that as I don't know how it works on Windows.
However, here's a small plugin that should make the dreadnaught available. However, I don't know if it works as I don't know what happens if two plugins use the same resource.
If it doesn't work, try adding a character in front of the name that'll put it at the end of the list.
BTW, I doupt that the Dreadnaught could be boarded anyway. If I'm not mistaken, it is a mission-related ship and mission-related ships can't be boarded.

Just abort the mission before you try to board it....

The best way to do so (something I figured out on my own 😄 ) is to run both the UE and Voinian strings at same time. Buy a Voinian cruiser, since they have the biggest crew all over the galaxy. (ca 900 agains the US cruisers 600) Hire (or capture) 5 or sixs other Voinian cruisers. In matter of fact, u need em. When you enter the system were you are going to destroy the Dreadnaught, you UE "allies" tend to attack you instead for "the enemy", since you have an Voinian cruiser.

I had to shot the UE ships down first, before dealing whit the "real" enemy.

The Dreadnaught is no problem, indeed whit some cruiser as escorte. Just watch the armor/disable status, so they dont destroy that vessel.

Remember to abort the mission before trying to board it. (guess how many times I did not)

Whit an Voinian cruiser, you should get around 16% chanse to board it. That will say, you have to try some times before you successfully get the ship.

But, whit 4-6 Voinian cruisers, it should be no problems.

Another matter is; is it realy worth the matter?
I did once board it, but it was when I had the "cloack field bug" running, so I didnt get it stored. (see previous thopichs about that bugg)

And. But you will be headhunted all over UE space in that vessel....

Oh yes. It makes a lovely escort. Plus each one you get increases your capture chances on the next. Voinian Dreadnoughts are a very hard kill in the Crescent, so if you fancy a dominating spree, these are the escorts for you. They each hold masses of interceptors, and while these suck individually, swarms of them can be nasty. And they get mysteriously replenished each time you land.

Interesting. Never thought about that. I tried to capture it once, but it was to no avail.

Indeed, I had to learn that painfully. Phase weapons are virtually ineffective against Voinian ships, since Voinian ships rely on a lot of armor and phase cannons are only effective against shields.
And in fact, neutron cannons are the strongest guns in the game.

Don't forget, having an escort of dreadnought means a sortee of interceptors launched simultaneously will take advantage of Override's game engine which is maxing out the number of ships that is allowed to appear in a system. This means that 32 is the max, but having interceptors launching as much as possible, it will reduce the numbers on the planet's defense side. If done correctly, the planet may end up sending out one, and destroying that, it is almost a 99% certain they will surrender.
