OK, this is a problem only Bomb can solve since he described the Summers Legacy string as semi-secret once in a E-Mail to me. I have finished the Querin string. Kytarr Major has fallen (I did Attack Kytarr Major IV), and I have done the epilogue missions. Since I read the planet descs each time a set of planets was conquered, I have seen all new descs that appear when Querin conquer the Kytaan already. Except the Centauran-conquered Cedekaa. It was the only that wouldnt let me land, even if I was Good Egg. I looked in the spob resource, and the MinCoolness was 2500. What? Do I have to be more than Honored Leader (2048 bits) to let me land? From experience, I know a player cannot attain the two highest legal statuses, no matter how many enemies I blow up. Just Pilllar of Society reguires months, to do many missions, and to blow up a governments enemy countless times. Bored, I set to land on Kardde, which starts the Summers Legacy string. I started it, and got to the point where you have to transport cargo to Xarnez that Summers says you shouldnt let anybody scan. He says Imperials have hired bounty hunters, which manifests itself in a small Imperial fleet that follows you. There is a small fleet of Independent-made vessels, Freight-Haulers and Marauders which you have to escort. The cargo is six months of research results on the JumpGate. Mission information says escort a small fleet of freighters. I dont remember the mission name, so I hope my description of the mission itself is enough. After it was done, I checked Xarnez countless times. No mission. I checked Karrde 2 times. The completion text for escort freighters is that the research can be analyzed next season. Is this a cryptical hint for that the next mission is very low probablity? Bomb, help me?

Uh... e-mail? Would prolly be easier, since not all the mods related to this forum, checks up on it on a daily basis.

I posted the last time I had trouble (Hijack Kytaan Tranports in F-25 2.0 thread), and Bomb replied within two days. I said only Bomb can solve because he is the only that I can sure that knows the solution. I dont know if you anybody of you board members have finished the Querin string and wandered to Karrde.
I see your point. I just guess that if it was me, who was in the middle of a mission, I'd prefer a swifter reply.
**Cade, I just got home from work and happened to jump on the boards.. I don't have the time to check right now, but either later tonight or tomorrow I'll open up the files and give a look around. I know the mission you're talking about, and I'm fairly sure I know what the problem is- not so much a problem as a mission quirk. Still, I'd like to be sure first before I tell you how to get around it.
I should also note that the Summers missions were added into the scenario real late into the final stages of testing.. so there wasn't much testing done on them other than what I did myself.. And if past track records are any indication.. my beta testing skills aren't the greatest. I know they work, albeit probably in a slightly rougher way than they should, mainly because I didn't have the time and I figured very few people would stumble onto them..

Work? Where do you work in? You worked in Abercrombe& Fitch last years summer. Its good that you know what the problem is- then I can continue playing F-25 and not get bored! I came back from summer camp, so I didnt see your post earlier. So now that you have had 6 days from July 26 th, have you looked at the files and gotten sure what the problem is? Oh, I didnt know that the Summers missions were added real late. See, I learn something new new even after testing! LOL. Yes, its true that your beta-testing skills arent the greatest, because there is so much bugs in F-25. Still, its a wonderful scenario and I like it a lot. I wouldnt have stumbled on them either, if you didnt have made a mail telling me about Summers Legacy when I was still testing.
Bomb? Have you looked at the files and can give me a answer? Why arent you answering? I have waited a week.
General, he did look at the files on Sunday for this topic. Details, I don't know. Thanks for your patience.

OK, so he looked at the files August 1. But I would like Bomb posting the details. I have waited for 15 days now since I posted the topic, and 10 days since he looked. I would like so much to continue the Summers string, since that is the only one keeping me from being bored with F-25 after finishing the Querin string.
Bomb? Do have too much work to look at the boards? I have now waited a week since my latest post. kauthor said you looked at the files August 1. Thats good, but it doesnt help if you dont tell me what you found out. I need you to tell what you found out- I dont know the name of the next mission, so I cant look at it to see what is wrong. Or are you still not sure what the problem is?
I am talking with Bomb right now. He said he hasn't had the time to build a pilot to figure out the problem. Can you please send the pilot file to shabs0283 at hotmail dot com so he can figure out the problem.
Allright, will do.

**In case anyone else happens to run into this particular problem- it isn't a bug, more like a mission oddity. I wanted to make it hard to find, but apparently, I took it a bit far. If you get stuck where Cade got stuck, go to the southern Xarnez world of Caamasi- the mission should appear there, though it will take several tries, more than likely.
